The West Park Hotel is located in Harrogate. It’s in a great location if you’re interested in doing a spot of shopping as it sits on a promenade of shops and is just a short walk from the town centre. The hotel also overlooks the beautiful Harrogate Stray, which is 200 acres of parkland, so there is the option to grab some fresh air and take a walk if that’s your preference. Having previously visited the West Park Hotel it’s wonderful to see that the same hospitality standards we enjoyed during our last stay have remained.

We experienced one of their penthouses named ‘Le Grand Depart’, The suite is a duplex that spans two floors, with the living area situated on the ground floor and the bedroom on the upper floor. There was also a separate bathroom downstairs in the entrance hall and a bathroom upstairs. The upstairs bathroom is spacious with a large bath and a separate shower.

“A memorable experience in the heart of Harrogate.”

There is also a small rooftop balcony which opens out from the bedroom which is most welcome. There is also a sitting area downstairs, equipped with a small library and flat screen TV. So, whether you like to relax with a good book in peace and quiet or watch your favourite programs, you have both options in this suite. Also included in the living area was a dining table and chairs, providing a more than adequate space to enjoy your espresso or afternoon pot of tea.

The hotel has a restaurant with a wide range of appetising dishes, they also host cocktail hours and other events so we recommend checking the offers available during your stay. The hotel is also home to some interesting acts and entertainment throughout the year.

Our stay at the West Park Hotel is best described as a memorable experience in the heart of Harrogate. Every member of staff is a credit to the hotel, we were well looked after and our suite was immaculate. This certainly gets a recommendation from us, and we will be staying at the West Park Hotel again in the future I’m sure.
