Trump Soho was actually my first experience of a Trump property. And what better a location to experience than New Your City.
I had high expectations, having heard great things, and I am pleased to say that our experience was completely positive. Located in the fashionable area of Soho in New York, the Trump hotel offers a fantastic location. With a whole host of art galleries, restaurants, landmarks and nightlife on its doorstep, this hotel promises to be a great experience, and it doesn’t disappoint.
This building means business. With 391 rooms located across 46 stories, this hotel is quite the statement. With unrestricted views of the Hudson, it is quite spectacular. The hotel’s motto is, “If success hasn’t spoiled you, we will.” And it certainly does so.
“Be sure to book into a room on a high floor to make the absolute most of the hotel’s impressive location.’
The lobby consumes two stories of beautiful décor and detailing. After being swiftly and efficiently checked in, we were promptly shown to our room.
Our one bedroom suite was located on the 10th floor. Although our room was beautiful, if I’m completely honest, you would ideally need a room on the 20th floor or higher in order to really appreciate the views. But labeled as New York’s most expensive hotel room, we were intrigued to explore.
All the rooms are luxuriously adorned with Fendi furniture, which is as comfortable as it is impeccably stylish. Other benefits in the room included electric blinds, the most comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a drench style shower. Definitely worth a mention in their own right were the most comfortable hotel slippers I have ever known!
Other benefits of the hotel include an outdoor pool on the 7th floor and a library area with extremely sofas and chairs where it’s easy to relax for a few hours reading, or people watching over the view of the lobby.
The hotel’s restaurant is called Koi and is a beautiful area filled with modern detailing and an electric yet relaxed atmosphere. It is a great place to enjoy a beautiful meal with the menu boasting a great selection of contemporary Japanese cuisine.
The Trump hotel in Soho certainly exceeded out every expectation and for that reason, we would recommend this hotel as one of our favorites in New York. If it isn’t the luxury that astounds you, then the staff will certainly impress. We would especially like to thank the friendly doormen who are a great asset to the hotel. It’s well worth a visit whilst in NYC – just be sure to book into a room on a high floor to make the absolute most of the hotel’s impressive location.
