Star Alliance Lounge, Los Angeles Review

Star Alliance Lounge, Los Angeles Review

Between flights we had the opportunity to experience the Star Alliance Lounge at LAX. As airport lounges go, this was a very pleasant experience. Guests can enjoy a relaxed and informal wait pre-flight, and there is plenty of comfortable seating, so it’s a great way to make the most of the time you have waiting for your flight.

Almost every chair is next to a plug socket, so you can pull out the laptop or any other device to pass the time, or catch up on some work. There is high-speed complimentary WiFi, so it’s perfect for business travellers.

We were spoilt for choice when it came to drinks, with everything from soft drinks to champagne and spirits. The lounge also serves hot food. We passed through in the evening and the quality of the hot dinner dishes were impressive for an airport lounge.

“This is the place to be, we thoroughly enjoyed it.”

Personally I’d love to see more lounges like this all over the world. It’s a breath of fresh air when you have experienced several over-crowded lounges. You can find the locations of Star Alliance lounges online, it’s worth checking ahead to see if you can find one.

Making use of the Star Alliance Lounge is a great way to spend time in-between flights. Whether you want to catch up on some work, or just relax in comfort, or have a nice meal. This is the place to be, we thoroughly enjoyed it.
