The Montpellier Chapter Hotel is located in the heart of the city, the hotel is a sophisticated escape from the bustle of its surrounding streets whilst still within walking distance of the city.

The lobby in interior has a simplistic design, very similar to that of the exterior. We were surprised to find the staff in denim jeans and converse, although we felt that this modern take on a uniform was in keeping with the hotels modern design and we were impressed by this bold idea.

The hotel also included a bar and restaurant. The bar was similar in design to the rest of the hotel, serving afternoon tea, light snacks and cocktails throughout the day. The restaurant was also in keeping with the design of the hotel and was modern in design while maintaining its classic style. The guests are even invited to watch over the chefs thanks to the open plan kitchen located at the end of the restaurant.

“The hotel goes the extra mile to ensure that guests can enjoy modern comforts.”

During our stay at the Montpellier Chapter, we stayed in a feature room, which included a spacious open plan design. The large low level bed was extremely comfortable and came complete with Egyptian cotton sheets. The room also included a freestanding bed within the living space, with a separate shower area and bathroom.

The room also included a comfortable Antonia Citterio sofa and complimentary mini bar. The room also lived up to the stylish design of the rest of the hotel with complimentary REN products and an iPod touch, which included an app with information about the hotel and local area.

The hotel also featured a Spa, which is in partnership with REN to provide natural and effective spa products and treatments. The spa provides a large range of treatments as well as a steam room, relaxation room and packages for those with a wish to enjoy afternoon tea after their treatments. The hotel goes the extra mile to ensure that guests can enjoy modern comforts while enjoying the friendly service.
