The Grand Hotel in Brighton is located on the seafront and is in the ideal location to explore the city of Brighton. Brighton is home to many iconic tourist attractions and a host of beach-front activities, so being a short walk from the pier and town centre the location couldn’t be any better.

Being called The Grand it’s normal to have high expectations, and the hotel lives up to what you might expect. Built in the 1800’s the hotel has endured a vast history and the character echoes through its walls. Although ongoing refurbishments ensure the hotel has a suitably modern appearance, it’s currently undergoing restoration work to be completed in 2017 and will be interesting to see how this develops.

“Perfect for a great British seaside getaway.”

We experienced one of the newly refurbished Grand Collection, Deluxe Sea View Rooms. The room is decorated with a nod to the seaside, it was light and airy and with a subtle seaside colour scheme to celebrate its heritage. The huge windows allow a lot of natural light into the room and the soft colours are easy on the eye. The room was spacious, and had a large balcony that opened out overlooking the bustling seafront. The bathroom is traditional and not overly lavish, but it has all you need and comes complete with a separate bath and shower. The bedroom is large enough to comfortably include a sofa and seating area, and the bed was most comfortable.

If you want to explore the hotel you may want to enjoy a drink in the lounge and bar, or enjoy a spot of afternoon tea, or see what live acts are booked for their Victoria Lounge. The hotel also has a Sauna and Steam Room along with an extensive range of spa treatments if you’re looking for relaxation, as well as a fully equipped gym if you want to workout.

We recommend The Grand Hotel in Brighton for a great British seaside getaway. The rooms are super, the location is super and we are quite sure you will leave with fond memories, as we did.
