The Hyatt Regency in Scottsdale really is a beautiful resort that you must experience if you are planning to visit Scottsdale. The resort has everything you need to keep you entertained for several days. It’s just a few miles from Scottsdale airport, and a short drive from the famous Fashion Square, so should you feel like venturing out there is more than enough to do.

During our visit we experienced a Hospitality Suite which was divine and incredibly spacious. The most impressive feature was the large terrace, which featured four large sun loungers, a large outdoor table and several umbrellas to keep that scorching Phoenix sun off our heads, which did have plenty of use during our visit.

Our suite had a large table in the living area, this could be used for meetings or private dining. There was also a large sofa and lounge area, a wet bar, espresso machine, 2 large plasma TV’s and two separate bathrooms.

As the name of the suite suggests, this suite is most suitable for entertaining. You could easily host a small party or a large social gathering here comfortably. There is also a small kitchen area with a worktop bar and barstools.

“The perfect haven to enjoy a getaway.”

The resort has more than enough facilities, and kept us entertained. There are several large outdoor pools to choose from, one of which is adults only. There are also tennis courts, and a spacious gym with all the latest equipment. There is an area called the ‘Sand Beach’, where there are not only a selection of pools to choose from, but dozens of fountains and waterfalls to enjoy.

As part of our suite experience we had access to the Regency Club, which served breakfast, refreshments and a variety of treats throughout the day. The food was delicious, with a wide range of meals being offered through the different dining outlets including the wonderful Alto Ristorante.

We recommend taking as a long here to really appreciate all they have to offer. We were still finding new areas while exploring the grounds on our last days, and would have happily enjoyed another week here. A great experience, and a perfect haven to enjoy a getaway.
