Studford Luxury Lodges are located in beautiful Yorkshire, just outside Helmsley on a private woodland. Bringing a blend of the wilderness and indulgence together, and wrapping it up in a luxury self-catering experience in a selection of magnificent tree houses.
Studford have six luxury self-catering lodges to choose from. Each one is finished to the highest standard inside and out, and architecturally stand as impressive constructions. Having just six lodges gives a real sense of exclusivity, and each lodge is positioned far away from the next to make you feel secluded in the wilderness.

The lodges are called ‘tree houses’ because they are raised from the ground, sitting on stilts. But don’t worry if you are afraid of heights, they are only a couple of metres off the ground. Each lodge sleeps up to six people, with three large double rooms, each with ensuite, open-plan living areas, and full-length glass sliding doors leading out to a large decking area.
Each decking area has its own hot tub, with the privacy afforded by the location you can sunbath in peace, eat al fresco, or gaze up at the stars while relaxing in the hot tub. It’s a tranquil and sublime experience, equally as enjoyable alone or with family members.
Inside the lodge there is a stylish wood burner, prepped with a few logs to get you started. The burner plus underfloor heating ensures a warm stay all year round. Plus, your stay wouldn’t be complete without a visit to your private sauna, which is big enough for you and your family.
The living room is very spacious and comfortable, there is a Smart TV, DVD player, and a games console to keep the young ones entertained. The kitchen is fully equipped and comes ready with hand polished glasses on arrival. Along with an espresso machine, wine fridge, dishwasher, and an American style fridge with built-in ice dispenser. There is a separate boot room with washing and drying facilities.
Overall, our stay at the Studford Luxury Lodges was a real pleasure. We were blown away by our entire experience, the high-end finishes to the lodge and all of the furniture and facilities is a joy to be surrounded by. If you visit I can assure you of one thing, you will not be disappointed.
